Visit by Saudi Aramco

Today the Seismic Wave Analysis Group hosted a meeting with a team of Saudi Aramco delegates. During the meeting the following SWAG members presented their latest research findings on the topics of deep learning for time-lapse monitoring and self-supervised denoising:

  • Abdullah Alali - Deep learning data matching: Application on time-lapse seismic 
  • ​Yuanyuan Li - Target-oriented time-lapse elastic FWI using a deep learning-assisted regularization 
  • Claire Birnie - Self-supervised deep learning for removal of coherent noise data 
  • Sixiu Liu - Self-supervised learning for noise removal in seismic data 

This meeting is another example of the ongoing and fruitful collaboration between SWAG (KAUST) and the Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Center - Advanced Research Center (EXPEC ARC) of Saudi Aramco.
