We are delighted to announce that two PhD students have joined the SWAG, here in KAUST. They began their visit in September 2025 and will be spending one year collaborating with our team.
Both visiting students bring unique expertise that complements the group's ongoing projects.
- Linrong Wang (PhD Student, Southwest Petroleum University): Working on advancing geophysical imaging methodologies by integrating deep learning techniques with seismic data processing workflows, with a primary focus on developing robust full waveform inversion frameworks that enhance the resolution and reliability of subsurface velocity model reconstructions.
- Lina Ren (PhD Student, China University of Petroleum – East China): Working on the topics of Reverse Time Migration, Full Wave Inversion and Full Wave Inversion Imaging.
We look forward to their contributions and the exciting collaborations ahead!
